enjoyable.
Our History
Borobodur Restaurant was a popular fixture on Gili T during
the 1990’s. In 1998, Borobodur was
relocated to the block next door to the original restaurant
and a magnificent new building was
created, using solid timbers from Kalimantan and fine wood
carvings from Bali.
The owners of Gili T Resort purchased Borobodur in 2008 and
set about remodelling the magnificent building into a new
resort, which features the soaring ceilings and fine
architecture of the original building. The original carved
doors of the restaurant can be seen adorning the front of
the Resort today.
Our Rooms
Enjoy your holiday on Gili Trawangan in our clean and
comfortable twin and double rooms.
All rooms feature individually controlled air conditioning,
60 channel satellite television, in-room safe, fully stocked
mini bar and private bathrooms with hot fresh water.
There is a 65 kva back-up genset to minimise the impact of
power cuts.
Activities
The Gili Islands are famous for fantastic diving locations
on the reefs located off all three islands. We can arrange
dive courses and trips with a number of professional dive
operators on Gili Trawangan.
The northeast of Gili T has
superb snorkelling just offshore, with an abundance of
tropical fish species to discover. Snorkelling equipment can
be hired from the beachside vendors, or we can arrange more
exciting snorkelling trips through our recommended dive
schools.
Our Restaurant
Located right on the beachfront The Terminal bar and
restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and for
all day dining every day until late.
Drop in for a cold drink and a snack, or enjoy one of our
delicious meals overlooking the ocean.
At night, choose fresh fish and seafood at our beachfront
barbecue and grill.
